Plauzzable is making it easier than ever to stay connected with your favorite comedians and upcoming events! We’re excited to introduce on-site notifications and browser push notifications, ensuring you never miss a show, open mic, podcast, or class again.
What’s New?
With our new notification system, you can tailor your experience by choosing exactly what updates you want to receive.
Notification Preferences (Defaults marked ✅) : You can now log in and set your notification preferences to receive alerts when:
✅ A comedian you follow posts a new:
- Show
- Open mic
- Podcast
- Class
- Tech rehearsal
✅Any comedian posts a new:
- Show
- Open mic
- Podcast
- Class
- Tech rehearsal
✅ Updates & Reminders for Events You’re Registered For:
- Date/time changes
- Cancellations
- 24-hour reminders
- 1-hour reminders
- 15-minute reminders
By default, the notifications marked with ✅ are turned on. You can customize your settings at any time.
If you want to update your notification preferences, follow these steps:
1. Click on your profile picture on the right side of the navigation bar (next to the log out button).
2. Scroll down to the bottom right, where you’ll find the notification preferences list.
3. Select or deselect the notifications you want.
4. Click the ‘Update’ button to save your changes.
What Are On-Site Notifications?
On Plauzzable, you’ll never miss an important update thanks to on-site notifications. Here’s how it works:
- - Once you log in, you’ll see a bell icon 🔔 in the top navigation bar.
- - When a new notification arrives, a bright green number appears next to the bell.
- - Simply click the bell to view your latest notifications, keeping you informed in real time!
What Are Browser Push Notifications?
Browser push notifications send real-time alerts directly to your computer or mobile device, even if you’re not actively browsing Plauzzable. When enabled, these notifications pop up in the corner of your screen, letting you know instantly about new events, updates, or reminders.
How to Enable Notifications in Google Chrome
To get push notifications from Plauzzable in your Chrome browser, follow these simple steps:
1. Visit Plauzzable.com and log into your account.
2. Click on the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar (next to the website URL).
3. Find “Notifications” and select “Allow” from the dropdown menu.
4. If you don’t see the option, go to Chrome settings:
- a. Click on the three-dot menu (top-right corner) and select Settings.
- b. Navigate to Privacy and Security > Site Settings.
- c. Scroll down to Notifications and make sure Plauzzable is allowed.

How to Enable Browser Push Notifications on Mobile Devices
For Android (Google Chrome):
1. Open Google Chrome and visit Plauzzable.com.
2. Log into your account.
3. When prompted, tap “Allow” to enable notifications.
4. If you don’t see a prompt, manually enable it:
- a. Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner) and go to Settings.
- b. Scroll down to Site Settings > Notifications.
- c. Find Plauzzable in the list and set it to Allow.

For iPhone (Google Chrome - Recommended):
Plauzzable is not currently compatible with Safari. To receive notifications, please use Google Chrome on your iPhone.
1. Open Google Chrome and go to Plauzzable.com.
2. Log into your account.
3. When prompted, tap “Allow” to enable notifications.
4. If not prompted, manually enable it:
- a. Open Chrome Settings.
- b. Scroll down and tap Site Settings > Notifications.
