John Liu is a first generation Asian American (Filipino-Chinese) Comedian based in Southern California. With his sharp wit and sharper tongue, John's comedy centers around growing up with a multicultural background, being a first-generation immigrant, current events, and dealing with the ever-changing American zeitgeist. John has performed all over the United States and even in the Philippines. He has been part of numerous festivals including Netflix is A Joke, Bergamot Comedy Festival, Asian Comedy Festival, Loons on the Lake,and more. He has performed at comedy clubs including the Comedy Store Hollywood, the Laugh Factory, every Improv and Levity Live Comedy Club in California, the Ice House, and more. He has opened for touring headliners like Rex Navarrete, Joe Wong, Edwin San Juan, Nick Guerra, Amy Silverberg and others. An experienced host and feature comic, John performs all over Southern California and beyond. When he's not performing, he can be found volunteering at his local Animal Shelter and reviewing foods and restaurants online.
